One of our goals is to empower and encourage everyone to take a stand, even those of us that had never thought of ourselves as activists or considered voluntary work. We can all make a difference in our community.
We ask for time commitment from our volunteers, that suits your free time, therefore we encourage applications from full-time workers with volunteering days, to busy parents/grandparents, retired, experience seekers, students and anyone who knows they want to contribute to creating change.
We celebrate our amazing volunteers spending time at community events playing a vital role in putting an end to Violence Against Women and Girls.
Volunteers invest their time, energy, and passion to create a safer society for everyone. Volunteers set up awareness stands, support workshops, analyse data, fundraise, support pop-up events, like fresher's week, and of course run marathons! But it's not just about their hard work.
Our White Ribbon NI volunteers also bring creativity and fresh perspectives to the table! They find innovative ways to raise awareness, engage the community, and foster dialogue around the attitudes and beliefs which lead to violence against women and girls.
