We have the perfect role for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Work Facilitator to join our team.
Hybrid position which requires travel all over Northern Ireland. A travel expense budget is allocated for this role.
£25974 pro rata
25 hours per week

The Role:
As a Youth Work Facilitator you will have the incredible opportunity to deliver our highly acclaimed Listen, Learn, Lead workshops to youth groups , schools and sports teams. These workshops aim to equip young people with the information and motivation to speak out about violence against women and girls, equip them with bystander intervention techniques and encourage their personal development.
As a Youth Work Facilitator you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This position offers a unique opportunity to receive comprehensive training and shadowing opportunities fostering your own professional growth and enabling you to excel in your new role. This post is offered on a fixed term basis for the period of one year , with the potential for extension subject to further funding. A probationary period of 90 days will apply. The role , if awarded, is conditional subject to an Access NI Enhanced Check.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver Listen, Learn, Lead workshops to young people with an emphasis on engaging young men.
• Actively seek out new partnership opportunities and nurture relationships with current partners
• Provide guidance and support to organisations in their fundraising efforts , offering creative ideas and resources to help them achieve their goals.
• Event coordination and planning logistics.
• Assist in planning volunteer meetings.
• Adhere to White Ribbon NI safeguarding , equality and diversity policies, legislative compliance, GDPR policies.
• Any other duties this role may require.
Minimum Criteria:
• At least one year of previous experience in youth work(paid or voluntary) is required to excel in this role. We value your expertise and ability to connect with young people.
• Keen interest in ending violence against women and girls – please detail this on CV.
• A valid driver’s licence (or transport that allows the candidate to fulfil duties of the post) is essential as you may need to travel to different locations to deliver workshops and will be compensated fairly for travel.
• An Access NI check will be necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of the young people we work with.
• A can-do attitude and the flexibility to work outside normal office hours and weekends during special events and festivals.
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
Schedule:
This position requires flexibility, as the workshops are at times conducted during evenings and weekends. However, we understand the importance of work-life balance and are open to discussing potential scheduling options that work for both parties.
Our office is based in Larne and you will be expected to attend monthly meetings and collect resources as necessary throughout the month.
